Dr. Blakely is a psychiatrist in Topeka, KS, an academic graduate and clinician of the Greater Kansas City Psychoanalytic Institute. Born and raised in Topeka, Dr. Blakely received his undergraduate degree at Stanford, MD at KU, Residency at Stanford, Fellowship in Intensive Psychotherapy at Austen Riggs, staff psychiatrist at Menninger 1988-2000, and currently practices at Heritage MHC since 2000. He is past president of the Greater Kansas City-Topeka Psychoanalytic Center. He practices analytically oriented therapy with psychopharmacology.


LEARNING OBJECTIVE:

After attending this session, participants will be able to describe how evolution informs therapeutic practice.
